Define the questions before the visit

A diagnostic review, mechanical inspection and body assessment have different scopes. Confirm what can be accessed and what will be checked before assuming that a pre-purchase visit covers every aspect of the car.

Discuss warnings and behaviour

Ask about recurring messages, recent repairs and changes while driving. No stored codes in a checked module does not establish every system’s condition. Some concerns are mechanical or only appear in circumstances a short visit cannot reproduce.

Compare the records with the findings

Service history, the seller’s description and the review should be considered together. If they appear inconsistent, ask for clarification. A useful report identifies the checks completed and the areas that were not inspected.

Use the result as information

An assessment helps inform a decision; it does not promise future reliability. Discuss significant findings and questions requiring separate checks. xqc can help define the diagnostic portion of the review before you commit.
